福岡雙葉小学校では、子どもたちが英語に親しみ、力を伸ばしていくことが出来るように、毎年この時期に「英語暗唱会」を開いています。この英語暗唱会のために、各学年の学習内容をもとに課題文を準備し、子どもたちはそれを暗記してみんなの前で披露します。
今年は、みんなが家庭でも練習が出来るように、英語の先生の朗読をこのページにアップすることにしました。雙葉小学校のみなさん、クラスの暗唱会に向けて練習をがんばってください。 |

I bought a house for my pig.
I put my pig on the floor.
I fed my pig, but he got so big,
he couldn’t get out of the door.
He got bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and WOW!

A broken Promise
Long, long ago, some children were playing by the seaside.
They found a turtle. They began to tease the turtle. A young man came and said. “ Stop it!” The children ran away.
“Thank you very much. Please come to my palace, “ the turtle said. The young man got on the turtle. The turtle took him to the secret place in the sea.
The palace was very beautiful. At the palace, the young man met the princess. They ate a great feast together.
When the man left, the princess said, “I will give you this golden box, but you must not open it. Ever! Don’t open it. Don’t forget.
I promise. I will never open it!” he said before returning home.
The box was beautiful. It was made of gold. The young man was curious. He opened the box and smoke came out. The smoke covered him. There was a mirror in the box. He looked at his reflection.
What a shock! Breaking his promise and opening the box turned him into an old man. His hair was white as a ghost and his face was wrinkled like a prune.
He regretted breaking the promise. But … it was too late. He was an old man.
